Senior Electrical Engineer
Artyc is on a mission to decarbonize cold chain logistics with refrigerant-free, reusable, active cooling containers. Refrigerants are quickly becoming the largest source of greenhouse gas emissions and, in combination with the loss of agricultural, pharmaceutical, and medical goods in transit, are expected to have an impact of 160 gigatons of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions across the next decade. As Senior Electrical Engineer at Artyc, you will be helping us create PCBs and firmware that enable our products with a close-knit team. We are looking for passionate and highly skilled individuals to join our team and be part of growing their respective organizations within the company. For the Senior Electrical Engineer role at Artyc, we are looking for a technical leader, a critical thinker, and an effective communicator.
What you’ll do:
- Lead Artyc’s PCB development
- Work with our firmware team on debugging and rework
- Create power budgets
- Determine battery pack chemistries, sizing, and layout
- Experience with FCC testing and compliance
Role Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience with designing and manufacturing PCBs
- Can construct power budgets for mobile systems
- Use KiCad for PCB design
- Knowledge of PCBA prototyping shop marketplace
- Experience with board impedance control for antenna mounting
- Background with project management tools such as Asana and Jira
- Embody Artyc’s mission-driven culture and collaborative environment

- Have been part of full product lifecycle development
